My mother was taken by ambulance to UPMC Harrisburg. The nurses, aides and X-ray/CT scan staff were outstanding. They took great care of my mother and were so very kind. She was transferred from the ER to the 7th floor orthopedic unit. I'm so happy to say that the staff on that floor was also very caring and kind to my mother. I am so very thankful for all of them. Please let them know how much we appreciated them.

I just had my gall bladder removed at the surgery center and it was an a+ experience. The care was superb and the next day when I looked over my discharge care I found the most thoughtful surprise. Those caring folks went above and beyond and signed a get well card! Very rare to find that level of care! Thank you all for the wonderful care you provide!

Liked that there was a nice cafeteria upstairs with a great view. They have a nice system in place to let you know how your loved one is doing in surgery with a TV screen, and also a text message you can opt in for. Melanie the RN who took all of my wife's info before going into surgery was super nice. Later when my wife didn't have any family around Joanne on floor 7 went to the store in the hospital and bought my wife some Ludens for her throat on her own!! Very much appreciated! Over all this was a very pleasant place for my wife to have her procedure done.

Once again UPMC is by far the best. I had an appointment at 4310 Londonderry rd yesterday with Dr. Christopher Franz ,MD. I can't say enough about how him and his staff, Ms. Anyely always go outside the box, they really care about their patients. The feeling they give me make me feel like I'm family. I forgot to grab my tank because it was charging Ms.Anyely immediately went for oxygen. My daughter was on her way to me with mines. Dr. Franz wasn't to happy about it. Not only did I get uplifting word from Dr. Franz. His assistant Ms.Anyely actually took time to walk me down to my daughter ,worried about me and my oxygen level. Thanks UPMC for having staff and Doctors that truly love what they do. It really makes a difference. Thank Dr. Christopher Franz and Ms. Anyely you guys are the best.

I had a thyroidectomy here on Wednesday. There were a few emergencies that had my surgery pushed back several hours…HOWEVER, the staff was amazing. Every person was kind, open, and friendly. When my anxiety got to high they even had aroma therapy while I was in pre-op waiting. My Dr. stopped by between emergencies to ensure I was okay and let me know I wasn’t forgotten and every step of my experience was positive. I will admit that this hospital is old and shows its age. The waiting room was full and looked like it was going to suck on all levels, but reality was that the staff and care was 100% top notch. Once I was recovering and put in a room, my room was spotlessly clean, the nurses and aids were super helpful and friendly, and I can not compliment my experience enough. Thank you to everyone who cared for me so well!

I spent 3 days in the hospital,first 24 in ICU. What a great experience!! Best nurses,aids,an caring all around. So impressed! Then 6th floor,an here again,,,best care ever! Everyone was wonderful. Loved all the care I received. Almost like a Minnie spa day! Thank You All.! My only complaint was, food was always cold an the servings were way to small.

I had a major "widow maker " heart attack last week. Happened to be away for training in that area. From the paramedics to every single doctor and nurse. Dietary and even housekeeping. Thank you all so much. You guys saved my life for sure. Best hospital Ive ever been to. I wish you all the best .

Always a professional and friendly experience with UPMC Harrisburg. Thorough medical professionals, attentive nurses, CPAs with great bedside manner, polite housekeeping team and the food is good! Expect to be treated with dignity and respect here..and maybe a few laughs from this upbeat, diverse staff. You can also expect clear and honest communication from the doctors! I could keep going because every department I’ve come into contact with has blessed me but I will just say, thank you UPMC for providing me with top quality care yet again!

I had my daughter here and had an amazing, supportive staff they went was a little miscommunication during a change in nurses but everything was handled quickly once the error was noticed and handled beautifully. The food was ready good afterwards. I have gone here for almost all my emergencies. I absolutely love that when I came for an appointment I was able to find my way somewhat easily and people where there to help along the way.

I've been here for 2 weeks, my right lung collapsed. they have been the best staff nurses and doctors I ever had in my life. Food was 10/10 staff was amazing they took such good care of me. I love everyone. Thank you so much for patching me back up and taking such good care of me. The best hospital ever and I'm from philly so that says alot. 10/10 you guys get doing the best you can your all amazing I love you.
